Registration and Enrollment
All students must be registered prior to attending classes at Philadelphia Dance Theatre. To register, please create an account through our parent portal, DanceStudio Pro. Once your account has been created, you may register for the classes you wish to attend.
You may add additional classes tp your schedule at any time through your parent portal. If you wish to swap or drop a class, please email info@philadancetheatre.org
Class Waitlists
Class sizes are limited. If a class is full, your dancer will be placed on a waitlist and you will be notified if a space becomes available. Placement on a waitlist does not guarantee enrollment.
Annual Registration Fee
An annual, non-refundable $50 registration fee is charged once per dancer each school year.
Tuition
Students enrolled in Philadelphia Dance Theatre's September–June school year are billed using a flat-rate monthly tuition system.
Tuition for the school year is calculated as one annual amount and divided into nine equal monthly payments, billed on the 1st of each month, September through May. Because tuition is spread evenly across the school year, your monthly payment remains the same regardless of the number of class meetings in a particular month.
Tuition reserves your dancer's place in class and is based on enrollment, not attendance.
Students who enroll after the start of the school year will have their first month's tuition prorated. Regular monthly tuition will begin the following billing cycle.
All monthly tuition is automatically charged using your saved payment method unless other arrangements have been made with the office.
Flat-Rate Tuition
One of the benefits of PDT's flat-rate tuition model is the opportunity for dancers to expand their training at no additional tuition cost.
Students may register for any classes within their current level (or below) for no additional tuition, provided space is available. Registration is still required for all classes.
Tuition Policies
Registration fees and tuition payments are non-refundable.
Tuition is not adjusted for absences, vacations, holidays, weather closures, or other missed classes. Tuition reserves your dancer's place in class regardless of attendance.
Written notice of withdrawal must be submitted by the account holder via email to info@philadancetheatre.org at least 30 days prior to the desired withdrawal date. Tuition remains the responsibility of the family during the 30-day notice period.
Tuition may be paid by automatic credit card or bank account payment. Cash and check payments are also accepted by prior arrangement.
Returned or declined payments may be subject to additional fees. Accounts must remain in good standing to maintain enrollment, and Philadelphia Dance Theatre reserves the right to suspend participation or release a dancer's place in class for delinquent accounts.
Discounts
Philadelphia Dance Theatre offers a 15% tuition discount for additional siblings enrolled in the school.
Families who refer a new student to PDT will receive a $75 account credit once the referred family registers for classes.
Unforeseen Circumstances
If Philadelphia Dance Theatre is required to alter programming due to circumstances beyond our control—including, but not limited to, severe weather, public health emergencies, government mandates, or facility issues—program modifications, credits, refunds, or tuition adjustments will be determined at the discretion of Philadelphia Dance Theatre.
