In order to have a productive and enjoyable class atmosphere it is
imperative that all dancers and parents are familiar with the policies of
the school. Prior to taking class with PDT please familiarize yourself with the
Class Etiquette document.

Dress Code

Pre-Ballet

Girls: Pink leotard and pink slippers (no tights necessary), white ankle socks, hair pulled off the face, (a skirt may be worn if it is attached to the leotard)

Boys: White t-shirt, black shorts, white ankle socks, black slippers

Primary Division

A neat presentation in your appearance will reflect in your dancing, simple is best. Hair must be in a bun. Warmers may be worn only with permission from instructor.

Leotard colors

Ballet 1 & 1x: white
Ballet 2 & 2x: light blue
Ballet 3 & 3x: lavender
Ballet 4 & 4x: black
Ballet 5: black
Ballet 6: black

Boys: Fitted white t-shirt, black tights, white ankle sock

Suggested leotard: Mirella camisole seemed leotard (M207L)
Suggested tights: Capezio meshed, convertible tights (style 9 for adults and 9c for children)
Suggested slippers: pink canvas split sole

Jazz

Black Jazz Pants, solid leotard or tank, black split sole jazz shoes, hair in a pony tail
Suggested Jazz Pants: Baltogs, hip hugger, straight leg jazz pants

Modern

Black convertible tights, solid leotard
Suggested Black Tights: Capezio meshed, convertible tights (style 9)


Philadelphia Dance Theatre cannot be held responsible for your possessions. Please do not bring expensive equipment to the studio or leave your bag unattended.

Tuition

Full tuition schedule

PDT's school year is broken into 2 eighteen week semesters. Tuition is based upon the number of class hours taken weekly. A $75 deposit is due upon receipt of registration to hold a space in the class. The balance of tuition is due the first day of the semester.

Checks should be made to PDT. A $25 return fee will be charged for a returned check.

Visa, MasterCard, and Amex are accepted. As of September 1, 2008 a 3% charge will be added to your payment when paying by credit card.

There are no refunds on tuition or credits given for classes missed. PDT has a varied schedule of classes that dancers are encouraged to make-up when they have missed.
