If you have already purchased all of the required Dress Code garments (see below), thank you very much! You can use them for the June 10th Showcase, and there is no need for you to do anything else.

But meeting the Dress Code requirements has become a headache for some PDT families, who haven’t had a chance to purchase them since they were published last August.
Not to worry, though —we have made it easy for you to get the needed garments. Here is how:

Go to either Dress2Dance in Glenside or Swan Dancewear in Narberth. We have conferred with the staff of those shops, and if they cannot get PDT’s Dress Code garment(s), they will recommend a comparable garment.

When you go to the shops you will need…

  • To know your dancer’s Level. If you aren’t sure, ask us.

  • The Dress Code, which you will use to identify the Dress Code garment(s).

  • Your dancer with you. Garment sizes are not universal, so you should try them on before purchasing.

Do not purchase garments online.
This has caused problems for some families. By contrast, the "brick and mortar" shops will take care of you in a way that online retailers can't.

We have spoken with the proprietors of the shops and we will honor their recommendations. We cannot guarantee that what you purchase without their guidance will conform to the Dress Code, and that could prevent your dancer from performing in the June 10th Showcase.

Thank you for your attention to this!
